What is “The Foundation”
This is a relative new feature of our volunteers support group, where we seek to provide products and possibly services “Free of Charge” to some of our members who cannot afford to purchase such things. This does not change what we are in any way, we are not a registered charity or a business, and we have no bank account or staff.
Through our affiliation with VeDA (www.vestibular.org) and being introduced to some of their corporate partners (suppliers of products relevant to balance disorders), some of these companies have donated product to ourselves for us to then allocate to members who can benefit from these, and would not otherwise afford to buy them for themselves.
How Do You Apply for a Free Product?
As a volunteer support group we have no effective means of vetting or means testing any applicants. The application will be based upon trust in our members and the only stipulation currently, is that the member must be able to prove that they already receive some sort of government based benefits.
Currently we can only allow applications from those living in the UK. (apologies to our International members)
If you feel you will qualify, regarding your own financial circumstances, please email to explain why the product applied for maybe of help to you in your own circumstances.
Please email foundation@lifeonthelevel.org All applications are treated in the strictest confidence. We will then contact you to discuss your application and availability of the product or service applied for. We cannot guarantee success of any application as supply of product is always limited, but if you believe any of our offered products could help you – we urge you to contact us, as quality of life can be improved significantly with the right aids to help cope with the challenges of a balance problem.
